Poem#2 Cute Love

Like a star, I'm falling
Like the sun, I'm bright
And when I trip over and fall
I fall into your arms on this starry night
I fell into your arms
like I always wished I did
And now that I have
I feel safe not even a little timid
I wished for so many things
but now I wish for one
And that wish is
For you to stick with me
and run when I run
I knew I loved you
That very day
When I fell into your arms
And you stole my heart away

Poem#1 Scarily Calm

So
there's this advertisement
but it's forcing us
forcing us to be normal and boring
not ourselves
but there's this panic deep within society
though everyone keeps it down and secret
I can't find it
everyone's walking around me in circles
keeping scarily calm
A blanket of ignorance surrounds the world

Understanding importance

I don't know what to say and as I most probably won't say much, I'll put past written poems up just so this blog remains unforgotten....sort of...
My thoughts on poetry before i start posting previous poems /short stories.

Poetry gives meaning when no one else dooes
Others less fortunate seem more fortunate
Understanding a kid's pain at seeing fights that tear apart the two wholes that make up a whole world to a kid. It's hard until you realise it might be happening right in front of you.
Poetry gives words an importance that carries the weight of heavy burdens or immense joys, or intense grief, or [unlimited] euphorious love.

John Keats to his brother George, 1819.
"The great beauty of poetry is, that it makes every thing every place interesting."
